Rain has started once again...climate is cool and pleasent..Its time to break your boring office routine, pack your bags, load your i-pods, take your cams and go out to enjoy the nature with your friends.
Memories of our previous trips to Murud, Pune, Ganapatipule, Harihareshwar and MP are still so fresh..those talks, jokes, fun, food, songs, beaches..n lots of things..
Let's plan our 2010 monsoon trip!
Guys, We need to book accomodation well in advance..So please please please revert back with your options and availability status as soon as possible.
I feel, we can plan it in the month of August..may be last week of August. (28, 29, 30, 31, 1)

yeah the trip idea is very exciting but the fact that getting leaves is a problem, can we consider any holidays coming?
there is a holiday on 19th August but I guess that too early and also not everyone will have that holiday.
The next one is on 10th september which is a friday.
So may be we can plan a small trip for a weekend or 3 days including a holiday may be.

Yeah. I am having optional holiday on 19th Aug.(Thurday)
10th September is not possible for me and Kapil as we will be travelling to our native places for Ganesh Festival.
If we really want to visit Konkan, then I think we will require atleast 4-5 days including weekend.
I doubt if just a"Weekend trip" will fulfill our hunger of having a good Break or not.
Do you think there will be a problem for leave approval??? Since we are applying for leaves 1 month in advance.

I think,
Getting 5 day leave seems to be a problem for some of us.
We have to go for a "Short trip" option this year.
I suggest:
• We have an optional holiday on 19th Aug (Thursday)
• Take 1 day leave on 20th Aug (Friday)
• We will get 4 days from Thursday to Sunday.
• So lets look for nearby spots
Few Options:
— Matheran
— Mahabaleshwar/Panchgani
— Lonavla, Khandala, Karla
— Alibaug, Kashid, Murud
— Malshej
Please let me know your ideas.

I like Malshej. We can enjoy trek expierience too.
Egatpuri also a one night hault option to relax in Nature....
