Laws of nature
These are the unavoidable laws of the natural
universe...
1. Law of Mechanical Repair: After your hands become
coated with grease your nose will begin to itch or
you'll have to pee.
2. Law of the Workshop: Any tool, when dropped, will
roll to the least accessible corner.
3. Law of probability: The probability of being
watched is directly proportional to the stupidity of
your act.
4. Law of the Telephone: When you dial a wrong number,
you never get a busy signal.
5. Law of the Alibi: If you tell the boss you were
late for work because you had a flat tire, the very
next morning you will have a flat tire.
6. Variation Law: If you change lines (or traffic
lanes), the one you were in will start to move faster
than the one you are in now. (works every time).
7. Bath Theorem: When the body is fully immersed in
water, the telephone rings.
8. Law of Close Encounters: The probability of meeting
someone you know increases when you are with someone
you don't want to be seen with.
9. Law of the Result: When you try to prove to someone
that a machine won't work, it will.
10. Law of bouncingly: The severity of the itch is
inversely proportional to the reach.
11. Theater Rule: At any event, the people whose seats
are furthest from the aisle arrive last.
12. Law of Coffee: As soon as you sit down to a cup of
hot coffee, your boss will ask you to do something
which will last until the coffee is cold.
13. Murphy's Law of Lockers: If there are only two
people in a locker room, they will have adjacent
lockers.
14. Law of Dirty Rugs/Carpets: The chances of an
open-faced jelly sandwich of landing face down on a
floor covering are directly correlated to the newness,
color and cost of the carpet/rug.
15. Law of Location: No matter where you go, there you
are.
16. Law of Logical Argument: Anything is possible if
you don't know what you are talking about.
17. Browns Law: If the shoe fits, it's ugly.
18. Oliver's Law: A closed mouth gathers no feet.
19. Wilkins Law: As soon as you find a product that
you really like, they will stop making it.

Happy Birthday Aditee
Hope it adds some special pleasure
To the hours of your day
To know you're being thought of
In the very warmest way...
And when your birthday's over,
Hope that you'll remember, too,
The same warm thoughts as always
Will keep going out to you!
~ Happy Birthday ~

design yatra
hi all........ as sam has already told u all i had been for this design coference organised by kyoorius collection at goa.... many things to talk about.... the things that happened there, the new place we saw, the experience and wat new thoughts has it triggered......... first of all it was first even design conference happened in india.... so it was nice to attend it... lot of design firms had come from all over india so first time came to know that so many design agencies (and not advertising agencies) already exist in india.. most of them from banglore n then delhi n pune. some foreign designers had come who spoke about their work and their countries.... hey guys by the way u would be happy to know (as i was) that even J J students and proffs were also there... chalo atleast J J started participating in such things if not organise rt? mahesh had also come with his collegues... and my whole team of design sutra had gone..... we met kshirsagar sir, joshi mam and saynekar sir. and also few juniors from our college... no one else from our batch but..... hey that hotel was amazing and even the beach.... ok let me not bore u with all this....
Wat was noticable n i would like to share with u all is that the fact that now no more is advertising the whole n sole or even the major mode of brand communication. now so many new media and many other ways of branding have come up and its no more the advertising dominated field. the designers who showed there work had so much variety in terms of media exploration. also i know that clients there are also ready to explore new media.... like enviornmental graphics.... in india its looked down upon but they had done such spactacular work in that also..... i cant even imagine that kind of work in india for next 5-6 years down the line.... and hence its become very important not only for designers but for amy creative ppl to explore different cultures and different things around the world.... traveling really will majorly contribute to this..... i mean so many ppl i met have travelled so much but also they have worked in different countries and places and with different ppl....
i felt like "a frog in the well" (is that how it is said?) in front of them.....
ummmm i dono if u guys would like to read all this or its boring so i will stop here.... if u guys find it interesting we can discuss further..... :)

what women really want.....everyone do read it.....
This is very interesting..........
(to women) pls take time to ponder ........
(to men) enjoy the story, then just switch off........
Young King Arthur was ambushed and imprisoned by the monarch of a neighboring kingdom. The monarch could have killed him but was moved by Arthur's youth and ideals. So, the monarch offered him his freedom, as long as he could answer a very difficult question. Arthur would have a year to figure out the answer and, If after a year, he still had no answer, he would be put to death. The question was: What do women really want? Such a question would perplex even the most knowledgeable man, And to young Arthur, it seemed an impossible query. But, since it was better than death, He accepted the monarch's proposition to have an answer by year's end. He returned to his kingdom and began to poll everyone: The princess, the priests, the wise men, and even the court jester. He spoke with everyone, but no one could give him a satisfactory answer. Many people advised him to consult the old witch, For only she would have the answer.
But the price would be high as the witch was famous through out the kingdom for the exorbitant prices she charged. The last day of the year arrived and Arthur had no choice but to talk to the witch. She agreed to answer the question, but he would have to agree to her price first. The old witch wanted to marry Sir Lancelot, The most noble of the Knights of the Round Table, And Arthur's closest friend! Young Arthur was horrified. She was hunch-backed and hideous, had only one tooth, Smelled like sewage, made obscene noises, etc.
He had never encountered such a repugnant creature in all his life. He refused to force his friend to marry her and endure such a terrible burden, But Lancelot, having learnt of the proposal, spoke with Arthur. He said nothing was too big of a sacrifice compared to Arthur's life. And the preservation of the Round Table.
Hence, a wedding was proclaimed and the witch answered. Arthur's question thus: "What a woman really wants?" She said, "Is to be in charge of her own life." Everyone in the kingdom instantly knew that the witch had uttered a great truth. And that Arthur's life would be spared. And so it was. The neighboring monarch granted Arthur his freedom. And Lancelot and the witch had a wonderful wedding. The honeymoon hour approached and, Lancelot, steeling himself for a horrific experience, entered the bedroom. But, what a sight awaited him. The most beautiful woman he had ever seen lay before him on the bed.
The astounded Lancelot asked what had happened. The beauty replied that since he had been so kind to her when she appeared as a witch, She would henceforth be her horrible and deformed self only half the time. And the beautiful maiden the other half. "Which would you prefer? She asked him. "Beautiful during the day ... or at night?" Lancelot pondered the predicament. During the day he could have a beautiful woman to show off to his friends, But at night, in the privacy of his castle, an old witch! Or, Would he prefer having a hideous witch during the day? But by night a beautiful woman for him to enjoy wondrous, intimate moments with?
(If you are a man reading this...) What would YOUR choice be?
(If you are a woman reading this) What would YOUR MAN'S choice be?
What Lancelot chose, is given below: BUT... make YOUR choice before you scroll down below... OKAY?
Noble Lancelot, knowing the answer the witch gave Arthur to his question, He said that he would allow HER to make the choice herself. Upon hearing this, she announced that she would be beautiful all the time. Because, he had respected her enough to let her be in charge of her own life.
Now... what is the moral to this story? The moral is...
1) There is witch in every woman no matter how beautiful she is!
2) If you don't let a woman have her own way, things are going to get ugly.
So, always remember: IT'S EITHER "HER WAY" OR IT'S "NO WAY" !!!
