Its so very ture.....
Infact some words fit our routine life so much.....
dont u all think?
everyday putting alarm on snooze 3/4 times before you have to get out of bed forcefully, getting ready quickly and running out of house gulping down the coffee without any breakfast, struggling for a rick when already there are couple of people standing there to get an auto already, standing at-least 5 feet away from first class compartment so as to jump before the train stops and get a seat, then trying to catchup on some sleep amongst all elbow hitting and people standing in-between your legs with their bum not even a foot away from your face, struggling to divert your mind cause u cant even sleep or read paper due to closterfobic atmosphere, running to reach on time in order to avoid late mark, having some crap breakfast from cantene and crib about it and then forget about it, evening have some unhealthy oily snack, finish 10 hours of staring at screen and run to get the train again, then run around and fight to get an auto out side station with around 2 dozen people waiting for auto, finally give up and walk half the way and get a rick, then you are so damn tired by the time you reach home, then have dinner watching some TV and sleep thinking of the running for next day morning.
I dono if its the city we live in or our proffesion but life looks like a race or a struggle every moment.
and then weekends are also packed with work at home. so the only option finally we see is pamper ourselves (which usually means spending a lot of money) at some good restaurant with some good dinner (which is not necessarily healthy but is expensive, considering everything is expensive in Bombay now) or shop something for yourself. Unfortunately going for dinner or shopping or movie, are our only options of recreation. :(
and after all this, at the end of the day, you have a feeling that your skill and talent as a designer is also getting wasted because its all the typical boring work happening at office.
I think not only physical but even mental health gets affected at the end of the day..... frustration builts up at every level and creativity goes down or disappears after a point.

I think we all need to think about this situation and find some solution to it.

Yes, this is exactly what I felt when I read this article.

All of us know that this is not the way we wanna spend our entire life....and We also know that we cant run away from it..

It's true that All of us are eager to find a way out..To do something that will make us feel good at the end of the day..and will give us energy to face such kind of routine.

I have an idea... let's all just think for ourselves no spouse, kid, parents only ourselves just for say 10-30 minutes everyday.
Switch off the gadgets.. take a break.. (if nothing else ...look at the sky)... I have started to do that it calms me...
remember the small things we enjoyed when we were kiddos.... see a bird... don't take a snap just enjoy the beauty of it, smell a flower ... walk home (think it'e ME TIME) eat a icecream enjoy it... to the last bite.. notice the names of the streets we rush by everyday... don't wander just BREATHE IN the PLACE we pass.
I actually do that... and mind it being in Government organisation is no different... but we have to make it happen for ourselves.

LET US ALL HAVE A HEALTHY AND HAPPY LIFE!!!!!!
