जे.जे.मध्ये नातलगबाजी!
सर जे.जे. स्कूल ऑफ आर्टमधील प्राध्यापकांनी विद्यार्थ्यांना धमक्या देण्याचे प्रकरण गाजत असतानाच यंदा कमर्शियल आर्टच्या विद्यार्थ्यांना त्यांच्या कलाकृतींसाठी दिलेल्या बक्षिसांमध्ये नातलगबाजीच प्रभावी ठरल्याचा आरोप होत आहे. जागतिक दर्जाचे कलाकार घडवणारी संस्था म्हणून जे.जे.चा देशभरात बोलबाला असला, तरी गेल्या काही वर्षांत संस्थेत कलेच्या क्षेत्रात न शोभणारे राजकारण सुरू झाल्याने संस्थेच्या प्रतिमेला तडा जाऊ लागला आहे. दर वर्षीप्रमाणे यंदाही कमर्शियल आर्टच्या चौथ्या वर्षांत शिकत असलेल्या विद्यार्थ्यांच्या चित्रांचे प्रदर्शन महाविद्यालयात भरविण्यात आले होते. कलात्मक व नावीन्याचा शोध घेणाऱ्या कलाकृती विद्यार्थ्यांनी सादर केल्या होत्या. उगवत्या कलाकारांना प्रोत्साहन देण्यासाठी सुमारे दोन लाख रुपयांची बक्षिसे विद्यार्थ्यांना देण्यात आली. विद्यार्थ्यांच्या कलाकृतींचे मूल्यमापन करण्यासाठी जे तज्ज्ञ बोलावण्यात आले होते त्यातील एक जण खासगी वाहिनीतील अधिकारी, तर एकाची स्वत:ची जाहिरात कंपनी आहे. या परीक्षकांचे अत्यंत जवळचे आप्त स्पर्धक असल्याने त्यांच्यावरच बक्षिसांची खैरात झाल्याचा धक्कादायक व गंभीर आरोप काही पालकांनी केला आहे.पालकांच्या म्हणण्यानुसार, आजपर्यंत चांगल्या व गुणवंत विद्यार्थ्यांच्या कलेची कदर व्हावी, यासाठी विद्यार्थ्यांला तीनच्या वर बक्षिसे दिली जात नसत. अर्थात हा नियम नसला तरी जास्तीत जास्त विद्यार्थ्यांच्या पाठीवर कौतुकाची थाप पडावी हा हेतू त्यामागे होता. पण यावेळी मात्र चार ते पाच विद्यार्थ्यांमध्येच सर्व बक्षिसे वाटण्यात आली. नातेवाईकच परीक्षक असल्याने एका विद्यार्थ्यांला तब्बल १३, तर अन्य एका स्पर्धकाला ११ पारितोषिके देण्यात आली. दुसऱ्या एका विद्यार्थ्यांवर एकदम आठ बक्षिसांचा वर्षांव करण्यात आला.ठाणे, डोंबिवली, कल्याण परिसरातील अनेक विद्यार्थी जे.जे.मध्ये शिकत असून, त्यांच्या पालकांनी या नातेवाईकशाहीबद्दल तीव्र नाराजी ‘वृत्तान्त’कडे व्यक्त केली. ठाण्यातील सुवर्णा एकबोटे व वंदना धमाले यांनी तर यासंबंधी लेखी तक्रार महाविद्यालयाच्या डीनकडे केली आहे. विद्यार्थ्यांवर अन्याय करणारे असे प्रकार किमान यापुढे तरी नावाजलेल्या सरकारी महाविद्यालयांत घडू नयेत, एवढी अपेक्षाही या दोघींनी व्यक्त केली आहे. संस्थेचे डीन वाघमारे यांच्याशी वारंवार संपर्क साधला असता ते मीटिंगमध्ये व्यस्त असल्याचे त्यांच्या कार्यालयातून सांगण्यात आले. त्यांचा भ्रमणध्वनी क्रमांक मिळविण्याचा प्रयत्न केला असता, ‘सर कधीच मोबाइल वापरत नाहीत’, असे उत्तर त्यांच्या कार्यालयातून देण्यात आले.

एक कट्टा...थोडा खट्टा, थोडा मीठा !
कॉलेज हा प्रत्येकाच्याच जिव्हाळ्याचा विषय. मित्र- मैत्रणी, कटू आठवणी, अविस्मरणीय अनुभव, कट्टा आणि त्यावरच्या चांगल्या वाईट संगती यांच्यासोबतीने आपली नाळ जोडली जाते ती कॉलेजच्या वास्तुशी. कोणत्यातरी एका टप्प्यावर आपण या वास्तुपासून दुरावतो. ती वास्तू आपण गमावणार नसलो तरी आता तिच्यावर आपला अधिकार सांगण्यास आपण पात्र नसतो. आपण पोरके होणारं असतो ते त्या वास्तुच्या आपलेपणाला.
जड पावलांनी कॉलेजच्या वास्तुकडे वळून पाहाताना अचानक ती वास्तू आपल्याशी संवाद साधू लागते. इवलेशे पंख असणाऱ्या फुलपाखराप्रमाणे कॉलेजात आलेलो आपण आता बाहेर पडताना गरूड झेप घेण्यास सज्ज झालेला असतो. या दरम्यानची आपली जडण-घडण कशी झाली, त्या प्रत्येक आठवणीना उजाळा देतात कॉलेजच्या वास्तुच्या पायऱ्या न पायऱ्या. आपल्या चांगल्या वाईट संगतीचा सोबती असणारा तो कट्टा साद घालतो त्या अवखळ टवाळखोरीला.
क्लास रूममधले बाक पायात घुटमळू लागतात, आठवण करून देतात इतरांच्या डोक्याआड केलेल्या मजा मस्तीची आणि गिरवलेल्या धडय़ांची. त्या कॉलेजच्या वास्तुतील प्रत्येक कण आपल्याशी संवाद साधू लागतो तो अगदी प्रचार्याच्या केबीनपासून ते रेस्टरूमपर्यत. ‘पुन्हा कधी येणार..??’ हळूच ओलावलेल्या स्वरात ती कॉलेजची वास्तू विचारते.
ज्या वास्तुच्या अंगाखांद्यावर आपण गडबडून लोळलो, जिच्या सहवासात आपण इतके सजग झालो तीच वास्तू आज आपल्याला निरोप देत असते. शेवटच मागे वळून पाहाताना ती कॉलजची वास्तू म्हणते ‘आयुष्यात खुप मोठा हो, तुझ्या इवल्याश्या पंखात गरूड झेप घेण्याच बळ तुझ तूच निर्माण केलयस. तू सध्यातरी कॉलेजच्या नावाने ओळखला जाशील पण पुढे जाऊन असं काहीतरी कर की तुझ्या नावानं हे कॉलेज ओळखलं जाईल. कधी आयुष्यात गडबडलास निराश झालास तर मागे वळून पाहा मी तुझ्या सोबतच असेन..

found the world of pandora
What a beautiful world that is......... the jungle life of bandhavgarh and kanha.......
It was a trip we will remember for life time........
I can still see the beautiful jungle in front of my eyes and still remember the language of silence that was in those jungles...... I had never thought being so close to nature can be so addictive.
It can give you such a high......
Really envy the people who stay there and have such exciting jobs of working so close to nature....
especially now that we are back to this world where there are hardly any traces left of something called nature.......
I just wish we never returned to this world from there.... and i m sure all of you also feel the same :)

I had been awarded a Certificate of Merit by M S Jayanth, General Manager of South Central Railway on account of doing outstanding work for the PR Department. I have designed articles for SCR in India's first-ever In-Train Magazine. The same has also got my name as an artist on the eitorial page within Special Thanks.
In a Government Organisation as big as SCR, it takes years together for people to achieve this, I am thankful to allah and all for making this happen for me.

Sorry!!!!
Sorry guys,
Due to an urgent requirements from on one of our clients end, I have to go to Pune one week knowlegde sharing session. Will leave on 27th and will be back by 2nd Nov. Hence I wont be able to join you guys for the concert on Friday evening. It was a very short notice, so I am rushing to pack my bags n all..
Hope you people will have nice time.
